Specific technologies you should know about
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — including server-side transmission
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API for advertising and conversion measurement. Two aspects of this deserve particular attention:
- Advanced Matching. In addition to browsing information, we transmit contact information you provide to us — such as email address, phone number, name and address — to Meta in hashed form, so that Meta can match your activity to a Meta account.
- Server-side transmission. When you place an order, information about that order is sent to Meta directly from our servers rather than from your browser, through Meta’s Conversions API. Because this transmission does not happen in your browser, browser-based ad blockers and tracking-protection tools cannot block it.
Session recording
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with our pages — including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the content displayed on the page — and replays those sessions to help us find usability problems. Clarity is configured on this store in its Mask Sensitive mode: text you type into form fields is masked and is not recorded, while the page content displayed to you is recorded. Affiliate tracking
When you reach our store through an affiliate or publisher link, our affiliate networks set identifiers so that the referring partner can be credited for the resulting order.
