To activate clamshell mode on your laptop, connect an external keyboard and mouse to your laptop using USB or via Bluetooth. Next, connect your laptop to the external monitor and then close your laptop's lid once detected. Now simply press the Spacebar on your keyboard and the external monitor will now power on as your main display.
