Vertical monitors are standard monitors which have been rotated 90 degrees to achieve a portrait layout rather than the traditional landscape layout of most monitors. 

Why Use a Vertical Monitor?

Vertical monitor setups are excellent for those with limited desk space, developers, writers and editors, or anyone who has a lot of text on the screen at once. Please note some monitor stands do not support this functionality and a VESA mount may be required for rotating your display.
